This institution is a directly‑affiliated research institute of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). Positioned as “One Department and Three Centers”, it serves as CNPC’s strategic think‑tank, R&D base, technical‑support & HSE information hub, and technical‑service center for safety and environmental protection. It is China’s first professional technical institute integrating quality, safety, environmental protection, occupational health, energy conservation and emission reduction. Recently, the institute has deployed VELAXIZ turnstiles for access control.
