Project Background
Shenzhen Longhua Central Hospital in Shenzhen, China, introduced pedestrian access control equipment during the COVID-19 response to support entrance management.
The project covered the hospital’s main entrance and additional access points, with separate lane configurations suited to different installation locations.

Products Applied
The hospital deployed VELAXIZ LB01 speed gates integrated with facial recognition terminals.
The LB01 speed gates provided physical passage control, while the facial recognition terminals supported identity verification. Together, they formed an integrated solution for managing pedestrian access within the hospital environment.
Installation Configuration
The project included two gate arrangements:
Three-lane configuration for one entrance location.
Two-lane configuration for another access point.
Five passage lanes in total, serving the main entrance and other hospital locations.
Facial recognition integration to support identity-based access control.
Application Value
The installation provided defined pedestrian lanes at multiple hospital access points. Combining speed gates with facial recognition brought identity verification and passage management together in one system.
Implemented during the COVID-19 response, this project demonstrates the use of VELAXIZ LB01 speed gates for hospital entrance management across different lane layouts.
