Project Background
Yongchuan District Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Chongqing, China, serves women and children. During the COVID-19 response, the hospital used entrance screening to manage access for visitors and medical staff.
Products Applied
The project combined TIJUN Intelligent luxury swing gates with integrated terminals for facial recognition, temperature screening and health code verification. The equipment was deployed at main hospital entrances and building entrances.
How the System Was Used
People entering the hospital presented a smartphone or Chinese resident ID card and faced the terminal. The documented workflow combined temperature checks, health code verification, mask detection and face-to-ID comparison. People with abnormal temperature readings were directed to a separate screening process.
Application Value
By linking screening terminals with hospital swing gates, the installation supported a coordinated entrance workflow and reduced manual code checking. This project illustrates an integrated approach to hospital pedestrian access control.
