How do I choose the right turnstile?
Start with the project security level, required passage width, expected user flow, indoor or outdoor environment and the identification method. Speed gates and flap barriers suit controlled pedestrian entrances, swing barriers can support wider passages, tripod turnstiles are compact and economical, and full-height turnstiles are intended for higher-security perimeter control.
Which identification methods can be integrated?
Depending on the selected model and project configuration, turnstiles can be paired with card readers, QR-code readers, face-recognition terminals and third-party access-control systems. Confirm the required reader type, mounting position, interface and control logic before finalizing the configuration.
Can the passage width be customized?
Passage width varies by turnstile type and model. Wider passages can be configured on suitable swing-barrier or sliding-gate solutions for luggage, accessibility or project-specific circulation needs. Confirm the required clear width before selecting the final model.
Can the gates be used outdoors?
Outdoor use depends on the selected model, enclosure design and site conditions. For exposed installations, confirm weather protection, drainage, power and cable protection, foundation requirements and any canopy or environmental protection needed for the project.
How are emergencies and power failures handled?
Emergency and power-failure behavior depends on the turnstile mechanism, controller and project configuration. The required fail-safe or release behavior should be confirmed during product selection and coordinated with the building access-control and emergency-evacuation plan.
