High-traffic commercial entrances require more than fast barrier movement. The gate must combine pedestrian flow, safety, durability, system integration and architectural appearance. VELAXIZ VX.LB11 has been developed for this type of environment.
VX.LB11 uses a patented mechanism with brushless or servo motor configurations and is designed for a service target of up to 15 million operating cycles. For office towers, commercial centers, hotels and other frequently used entrances, mechanism durability can significantly influence long-term system reliability.
Standard passages can be configured in approximately the 600–900 mm range, while wider configurations up to around 1500 mm can be considered for special project needs. This provides flexibility for accessible entrances, luggage and wider pedestrian movement.
Infrared sensors track pedestrian movement through the gate. The system can identify abnormal movement patterns such as tailgating, reverse entry and lingering. Optional LiDAR can further expand sensing options for selected applications.
The gate offers interfaces including RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP. It can therefore work with QR readers, RFID systems, facial recognition, palm recognition and other compatible access control technologies.
The barrier can be configured to open during power failure to support emergency pedestrian movement. Obstacle detection also stops gate movement when resistance is detected, improving passage safety.
