Located in Tekes County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, Kalajun Scenic Area is a national 5A‑level tourist attraction and World Natural Heritage Site composed of four major scenic zones.
During its smart tourism upgrading in 2025, the scenic spot deployed VELAXIZ snow‑resistant turnstiles for its ski resort. With military‑grade quality, the turnstiles adapt to low‑temperature and high‑passenger‑flow conditions. Integrated with the existing unified ticketing platform, they realize real‑time ticket verification and access permission control.
Featuring 50cm long‑range card reading and contact‑free passage, the built‑in constant‑temperature module enables stable operation under ‑40℃. The 15693 protocol prevents ticket card duplication. The devices reduce manual checking workload and collect real‑time passenger‑flow data to support passenger scheduling and resource allocation.
